ANN ORG, 1989-2001
Mixed media: enamel paint on the prepared wooden surface, paper labels with ink colours
Description
A work commissioned by the Archivio Francesco Conz in Verona and begun in his guest apartment at the Vicolo Quadrelli during a two-week stay in 1989. The instrument was painted white, but left unfinished. On a second visit in June 2001 Ann Noël transformed the old "MANNEBORG" harmonium into an ANN ORG in a garage-studio nearby.
Shown at the KW-Institute in Berlin during the exhibition "Pause: Broken Sounds / Remote Music" in 2020.
