Description
The starting point to this series were envelopes, printed patterns on the inside, in which there is a window cutout for the address. Behind these Ann placed a clue to the somewhat secretive contents of her ‘windows to the past’, adding an English nursery rhyme taken from the “Mother Goose Anthology," photos and drawings. The window suggested a time or a situation, which she further explored by introducing complementary images.
