ANN NOËL

For the 60th anniversary exhibition "SEX TIES" at the Nassauischer Kunstverein, Ann Noel was commissioned to create bedside tables for herself, Takako Saito, Alison Knowles, Dorothy Iannone, Marianne Filliou, Dorte Krogh, Sara Seagull and Anne Tardos. The staff at the Kunstverein collected the bedside cabinets, painted them white and filled the drawers and cupboards with artworks, catalogues, performance videos and sound recordings. There were also chamber pots inside the cupboards in which to place the "Fluxus shit".
