Description
The background images came from empty poster frames, which I photographed on a wall in Berlin, but the images superimposed on them I found during a month’s stay in Venice. I added colours to the prints with pastel crayons and mistakenly sprayed the finished images with glue instead of matt fixative – but as every artist has to admit, chance is the mother of invention – and when I worked over them again with transparent inks, I had given them texture as well.
