Finding the optimal letter distribution took time and thought. Ann Noel used that devised for a game of SCRABBLE (in English,) so that the possibility to combine them is maximal, and then applied the colours so as to allow the letters to dance across the surface and be reformed by the mind's eye in ever-changing combinations
